Front oil "****" plug

About to reinstall the timing chain oiler plug I notice the threads are buggered up from the factory. Having problems finding a replacement, have heard a Chevy plug can be used and a 1/16" hole drilled. Would rather use a genuine Olds part. Anyone got a extra one floating around that I could use?

Threads on the plug itself were messed up, did not notice until after the plug was cleaned. Engine has never been rebuilt so the only thing I can figure out is that it was installed incorrectly at the factory.

What year?
I have no parts for the car pictured... but know folks that do.

can you just file or grind away the malformed part of your plug? You don't really need 100% of the threads to do its job....

Thanks Octania, finally sucked it up fixed the threads on the plug. Damage was not consistant on the threads so with some careful filing was able to restore plug and have installed in block.
