Friday the 13th....Starter.

Well, for a car that's sat for 60 years i kinda figured that Id have to replace a FEW things. After cleaning the 5lbs of grease & dirt off the starter, I sprung the band, just to see what was inside.... RUST & GUNK. The flip up cap on the terminal end is also CRUSTY.

Where can I send this for a rebuild? Ive googled it & I get the parts links, & that's about it.

I think you asked this over on AACA too, but in case it's someone different-

Find an electrical repair shop that does tractor starters and generators. They still see 6 and 8 volt stuff a lot and should be able to get you going.

With all the farming in Wisconsin bound to think there's probably one near you.
