Clock wiring

Hi friends. I’m replacing my worn out westclock with a Borg clock on my 1949 Olds 88.
I bought this one on eBay. I was told it works. Looks like it has three wires that are exposed and ready to be hooked up. Anyone know what wire goes to what? What’s positive and what’s negative? I know it’s missing the light socket. Here’s some pics

IDK about the wiring, but in case no one else does either some more info might help

is your car 6v or 12 v?
positive or negative ground ?

I guess you dont have a wiring diagram or service manual ? and the wire colors are different than the westclock

taking it apart may yield some clues ie the ground may be connected to the case internally

6v neg ground. The service manuals do not include a wiring diagram at that level of detail.

That nut on the back is the hot wire. That is part that power goes to in prefer to reset the spring. There is a seperate wire that goes to the bulb which only is on when car light switch on. On mine there is also an online fuse 2amp but mine is westclox 1950 I will look for or take new pics for you. I took apart 2 clocks and got both back to life, but luckily just disconnected wires that were already set up. One wire was to bulb and other was hot to the post on the back of the clock.
