47 Convertible

Not Mine. I posted this in cars for sale in CO Cars For Sale just before starting this thread. It would be great if an Oldsmobile enthusiast jumped on this. Based on what I've learned on my 47 Olds converetible project this should be a fairly easy build as a restoration or street rodded. $5k is a reasonable asking price given all of the body panels look straight and convertible mechanism seems to be all there. The best news is this is a 60 Series and many parts exchange with Chevrolets. I haven't checked it out thoroughly because I might talk myself into it. I can help a buyer source some of the really hard to find stuff like convertible top pieces, pumps, top latches etc. since I've been doing my project for several years now and have almost all I need. You really ought to check it out if you are looking for a new project.

That's a very nice looking project! I sure am happy it's too far away.... I'm out of shop space as it is!
