52-53 Fender Skirts update

My original post got moved to WTB for some reason so I'm posting this as a new thread and in my original post.

OK...the 1952 Olds 98 Fender Skirts do indeed fit a 1953, they are exactly the same!! there is only one small difference....in 53 they added a lower trim piece to the Skirt, the PT #'s are different for that reason only, but this in no way changes the shape between the Skirts from 52 through 53.
I just have to drill a few holes using my old ones as a template to attach the lower trim....Ebay score! pair of NOS Fender Skirts, I'm a happy Brit.

Congratulations Nigel, one more "hurdle cleared").By the way, did you find the article about those "Umbrella type Valve stem seals". Good luck , you have made much progress.
