'46 dynamic 76 newbie here

Hi guys. I am new to olds. I will be getting a 1946 dynamic series 76 4dr Sedan. I was wondering where are parts suppliers for this year and model. Where do I find repair or service manuals. I'm also thinking about converting to 12 volts.
thanks

Welcome aboard! You can find several different manuals on ebay, and a good source for parts is Fusick https://www.fusickautomotiveproducts...nts.asp?dept=8. You'll also be able to find books at Fusick as well. Don't hesitate to ask questions here too, lots of smart folks here!

Thanks for the tips. So should I post future posts like questions about 12 volt conversion on the regular forum site?

Just curious why do you want to change your system to 12 volts? If you are having issues why not just fix the issues it would be a lot quicker and easier. These old rigs ran all over the country on 6 volts they still can.... Tedd
