I am at the point where I am ready to drop in the 394 and trans in my 56 Olds 4 dr HT this weekend and I was going by this page... http://webpages.charter.net/dhomstad...me1Source1.htm

...but then I realized that the trans that is attached to my 62 394 is a 1960 Jet a way hydro 4 speed and not the 62 trans that he is using. Other than shortening the drive shaft (no a problem) I am mainly wondering about the bellhousing mounts. Will the stock 1960 mounts work and if not what year munts do I need to go with or do I need to fab up some sort of bracket? The 56 324 style mounts will fit the 394 bell but I would have to hog out one of the holes in the mount.

I would just like to know what mounts I need to go buy tomorrow at Olds Car Parts NW before I try to drop this heavy beast in the car.
