Any one have experience with this stuff. A friend of mine highly recommended it. Oil or Transmission applications?

I can affirm, AT205 works as intended to soften rubber parts without causing them to swell. In auto applications I find it best used as a preventative on rubber, keeping it from drying out. Will it seal leaks? Only if the cause of the leak is a dry rubber gasket, not a tear or structural damage.
best part is, it won’t “swell” the rubber. I always keep a bottle on hand.
it didn’t work to stop my front main seal leak. That was a tear. It did work to stop drips in a transmission that was seldom used.
