I found out the hard way that there are 6 different trunks for these cars. Now I need to replace the passenger side window and wanted to ask if they are specific to 2 or 4 door cars or would a 4 door front passenger window work on a 2 door front passenger door?

Also, I'm assuming the parking brake cable etc is all the same between the cars?

I ask because I know where there is a 4 door 1957 Oldsmobile parts car and I would like to grab these parts if they fit.

There are 5 different front door windows.
1. Two door (post) sedan
2. Hardtop coupe (2 DR)
3. Hardtop sedan & wagon (4 DR)
4. Convertibles
5. Four door (post) sedan & wagon

Those windows are flat glass. Any old timey glass shop should be able to cut and install a window, if the frame is good.

The front parking brake cables are all the same for '57
The rear parking brake cables differ, 88 vs 98
