1957 "98" convertible top boot

Looking for a place to have a top boot made for a 1957 "98" convertible

I ended up buying one from somewhere. I'll check for you. I'm trying to find the boot retainer clip that is on the back of the seat that the boot connects to.

Where are you located? I would imagine that would be an item that would have to be custom fabricated by an automotive upholstery shop.

I've bought a couple through the years they should come up on a Google search. Try convertible tops and boots then the year. They usually come with snaps but not punched so you will need to attache the fasteners to your particular car..... Tedd

57 boot

I don't know anyone that has that clip, actually I've had 6 "57" oldsmobile's, started as a teen MANY years ago and the availability of parts is SO hard to find now. they were so plentiful till about 10/15 years ago. I've researched a lot on the boot, we only have a couple shops around here I know of, so guess I'll have to have a custom one made. Thought it would be easier, surprise !!! Almost done with it anyway. Probably do a couple shows then sell it by July.
