1948 "98" help with door lock
Auto has been apart for a long time because of painting fiasco with many parts removed and lost. I did find a key lock that fits in the passenger side. But how does it function? I can find no drawings on it to help. The lock looks like it has two electrical connections on it but not sure they are. No key, will have to get one made. I can find no reference to a door lock in the electrical drawing. Is it a mechanical connection to the door lock-latch assy? If so, What does this mechanical connection look like? Hope you can help.

Hi, i have a 48 98 too. There is no electrical parts in the lock, only the switches if you have hydraulic windows.
I do have some pictures when I dissasembled my car, and have some spare parts I can take pictures if you need.
