It's very difficult to get even stock parts for the ST300/Jetaway, let alone any hipo parts. Keep in mind that despite being a two-speed, this is NOT a Powerglide.

You could try Fatsco Transmissions. They will at least have rebuild kits and filters.

we'll ok then,I was thinking that it was a powerglide, then may I'd better think of changing the trans to a 4 speed auto, any thoughts on that?

The 200-4R is just about the same overall length as the Jetaway, and uses the same driveshaft yoke. The bellhousing bolts to the Olds motors. The first problem is the crossmember location. The trans mount on the 200-4R is in the same place as on a TH400, but your 65 did not have a TH400 option, so the frame is not currently drilled at that location. You'll need to do that.

The 200-4R is not known for it's strength, so have one built for your application. Finally, you'll need to fabricate a bracket for the throttle valve cable and you'll need to run some sort of lockup switch for the converter. Otherwise, it's a nice swap.

Nope. 1967 was the first year that the TH400 was offered in the A-body.

Just a reminder that there were two Jetaways. The two speed Jetaway of the mid 1960s was an entirely different transmission from the four speed Jetaway , used in various GM and American motors cars from 1956 through 1963. This earlier Jetaway was the dual coupling Hydra-Matic , called Jetaway by Oldsmobile from 1956 through 1960, Flashaway by American Motors, and Strato-Flight and Super Hydra-matic by Pontiac.

Transgo used to make a shift kit...I put one in a long long time ago(probably before you were born)...but it didnt help much for that tranny...great if you wanna keep it stock...my 65 442 has one and its ok...but my 65 442 lookalike has a 200R4 with a 455...much much better..like Joe says...not a big deal to install

Ive done tons of swaps in my 64 F85. First was a 455 and th350. But kept blowing the th350s. (direct swap) i went through 4 of them in a year. Then i did a 700r4. Had to move the crossmember back one notch. And drill the second (back) hole. Was going to get the driveshaft shortened ($95) but the driveshaft was twisted. So i had them custom make one. ($280). But its rated up to 800hp. And i had to get a dumb bracket for the TV cable ($40) at sumit for the carb (holley) And wire up a toggle switch for the lockup. I just manually put it on on the highway. Over all i love the setup! Great 1st gear, and with the lockup its like a 5 speed. I can cruz on the highway at 80mph at 2100 rpms.

The one problem is the shifter. Since it was a 2 speed, it will only maually shift 3-4 gear.

Shiftworks sells quadrants to upgrade stock Olds shifters to work with 3 speed and 4 speed transmissions.
