67 Cutlass Sedan Jetaway to Th350 swap

I am wondering what will be needed to swap trannies from the 2-speed to the 3-speed(short shaft)? It is a regular auto on the column bench seat 4 Door. I have a B&M unimatic floor shifter that I want to put in.

Very easy swap, You'll also need a torque convertor and the only issue will be the way you want to hook up the kickdown cable. Either it can be done by replacing the gas pedal to a later version or you can set it up like a Chevy at the carb.

I have a torque converter already and which way is easier? Can I use stock kickdown cable with newer style pedal? And how does chevy set up their kickdown cables?

This is a universal style setup at the carb for a Chevy. Since the T350 was not available for 67, you will have to get a 68 gas pedal and cable assy.

I'm not sure it's that easy to use a later pedal assembly on a 64-67 car. By the way, the TH350 didn't exist in 68, either.

The far easier solution is to get the kickdown cable and bracket from a mid-to-late 1970s Olds. These went to the carb, not the accelerator.

So ill just need the mid to late 70s kd cable and not the pedal since the cable goes right to the carb? So besides the kickdown cable, the mounts and tranny should bolt right in? Any tips for cutting the hole in my floor and shifter install?
