66 f-85 330cid..Trans swap??

Does anybody know if the turbo hydramatic 3speed trans of a 1970 buick skylark will fit on my 66 f-85 with a 330 cid? Also is it really better than the 2speed I have?

Is it a TH350 or a TH400? Both should fit together with the engine due to the BOP bolt pattern! The TH400 will require more fabrication to fit...click on the link below for more information!
I'm glad, that I did the swap! (Mostly because my two speed didn't shift into second gear )

A turbo 350 will not require a trans xmember position change nor a driveshaft mod. It will require a kickdown cable. As the link suggests that Dan provided, the T400 is a bit more complicated but not that hard. Good luck.
