I want to rechrome my automatic shifter. Was wondering if anyone had any experience taking these aprt. I have the shifter off the mounting bracket. Removed the small roller pin at the top and the bottom clip. Thought the inside cable or rod would just pull out. But it isn't. Looks like something else is holding it.
