1973 olds with a 2004r trans

I would like to know what flexplate/flywheel do I need to have? I have a 73 olds 350 eng. and i need to buy a new Flywheel and I will be running a 2004r behind it. So do I need a 350 flywheel or a 307 flywheel or are they the same?

fyi Im getting the eng blanced and my machinist needs a flywheel and harmonic blancer to do it. I have the org Blancer but the flywheel was cracked!

Thanks your help, Kris

Diesels are different, but I'm just being pedantic.

Apparently the FWD 307 motors also use a different (slightly smaller) flexplate. This was a surprise to me, too.

Just use the original flexplate for your 350.
