Th400 vent tube

Does anyone know off hand the size of the TH400 vent tube? Last August I tried to maneuver my hand and a hose up there to see if the vent tube was clear and while at the time I thought I was successful, based on continuous issues that seem to be due to a clogged vent, I'm after it again.

If anyone happens to know the size, I'd appreciate it as Im wondering if it's big enough to run a scope up. Alternatively, if I can't...then I'm hoping I could maybe connect a hose to the outside of the tube and have better access not just for venting, but to hook the vacuum pump up to see if it's clear. I figure jamming a wire up through there may work until I push something into the trans that shouldn't be there. Lol.

Thanks

The plastic tubes are 3/16, the earlier metal designs are closer to 1/4.

hmm..well, I forgot how much of a pain it was to reach this with the car on jackstands..so my idea may have gone out the window. But, good to know. I'll keep thinking about the best way to do this without just angrily shoving a wire up through there to see if it's clear or not.. lol
