Speedometer gear delete th350

Are there no speedo delete plugs for a 72 TH350? I seem to locate one for almost every other transmission on the planet except for one of the most popular ones?! So all of you running GPS speedometers, how do you handle this issue?

7/8 freeze plug for the smaller housing, 1 15/16 for the bigger housing. Or, just remove the speedo gear, tap the bore where the gear seal went, and install a pipe plug.

Just epoxy the housing cable-end shut?

I ended up tapping the housing from the inside with a 1/8-27 pipe plug. Installed the plug with some red Loctite. I'll just find a rubber cap to clamp over the exterior portion where the speedo cable hooks in to clean it up a bit.

^^^THIS. It's not that critical. Why would you spend $16 for a "delete plug" instead of a buck for a freeze plug?
