Is this 455 Crank Ready for 4 Speed?

Hi,

I recently got a 1974 455 and would like to see if this crank needs to be drilled for a pilot bearing for a 4 speed.

Here's a picture I took (the 455 is on a stand now so it's not the best angle sorry)

Thanks for your help...

The crank pictured is NOT drilled for the pilot bearing.

Search this site.

There are some drawings on this site you can use to have it drilled correctly.

Dont buy one from Mondello Performance Products just in case you haven't heard.

An issue 1972cutlassS may have is that the block may not have the provisions for the clutch Z-bar.
