switching my drivetyrain from a jetaway to a drivetrain from a 68 442. I am getting the tranny checked.

Do i have to replace shifter cable and brackets. If so, were can i get new ones.

We ASSUME this is a factory console and floor shift, but you didn't specify.

Both the cable and the bracket on the trans are different for a TH400 vs. a Jetaway. Fortunately, the TH400 parts are available repro. Floor shift Jetaway parts are not common - don't throw yours away. Shiftworks sells the shift quadrant and gear indicator lens to convert your two speed shifter to a three speed.
