Kickdown cable install for 67 330

I have replaced the Jetaway with the TH 350 in my 67 Cutlass. Need info on how to hook up the kickdown cable to the carb. I know the 68-up were hooked up thru the gas pedal, I would like the simpler install done like a Chevy. I'm sure someone makes a kit. Thanks

There are lots of aftermarket cable vendors. Alternately, find a mid-1970s Olds with a TH350. Those ran the cable to the carb throttle arm. The bracket and cable should work on your Qjet (assuming you have the original carb). The only issue will be adding the attachment point on the throttle arm on the carb.

Thank you all for the research. I had no idea I could buy most of what I need right up the street.

You'll be surprised how much stuff is still available at your local auto parts store.

Just don't expect them to have it in stock. Then ask yourself is it worth TWO trips to the auto parts store (once to order and once to pick up) or is it better to just order on line and have the parts show up on your doorstep a few days later. Here in Northern VA, the shipping cost is about a wash with sales tax except for heavy parts like brake drums and rotors.

I can pick up the phone and call the local auto parts store in the morning and usually pick them up in the afternoon. I like to order warrantied parts local, eg brake shoes, water pumps, master cylinder, etc for the ease of return and replace.

Whatever works for you, but I've had no warranty or return issues with RockAuto. When an alternator failed under warranty, they emailed me a mailing label to print out. Once I got an ebrake cable that had the wrong cable in the box. They simply sent be another, no questions asked. Local purchase would have meant TWO more trips to the store, one to return and then again to pick up the correct one when it arrived. Given how far I live from the nearest auto parts store, it isn't worth the time (which is one thing I don't have a lot of).
