Hi. I have a 72 delta88 posi rear,3:08 gear. I'm taking the brackets off to transfer to a ford 9 inch. Anyone need the remnants? Posi clutch pack has 5k on it-bought new from gm when they were still available. Aslo new brakes. I'm in northeast ct.Going to be available for pickup in january-probably late in the month.OR if someone has another rear they want to give me for the brackets you can buy mine complete. Thanks. I didn't post this in for sale cause it's kinda odd. Hope this is ok.

 

Seems like a real shame to hack up that rear just for the brackets. You could probably swap for a relatively worthless open rear pretty easily.

 

I used to have 5 delta88's.Now I'm down to just the 1 and have no other option at the moment. If I had an idea that someone here wanted this rear I could look locally for a pos 1 legger, know what it would cost and sell my posi to someone.But I mean it's just not that hard to swap out a carrier. Yank axles,pull carrier,change over ring gear and your in business. Thanks for the reply.

 

So nobody in the new england,northeast needs this rear end. Ok fine. Anyone need the carrier or the gears,axles,brakes? About 2 weeks from cutting up this rear. It's still in the car. You can drive it before the swap. Last chance.

 

What would you like for the posi carrier and gears? I have a 2.92 at the moment, but it never hurts having a spare around.
