After rebuild

After rebuild
So after a rebuild my car shifts kinda hard from 1st to 2nd. It's not super hard but just a little jerk. Should I be worried? Should I take my car back? And my ujoint is worn. Could that be the problem?

Hey, idk if you would know but would you know what a good price would be to get a 307 rebuilt? I know, I know. People say getting a 307 rebuilt is a waste.

Up in Canada a 307 rebuild is around $2900.00 not sure about the U.S prices. You can google Crosstown engines in Canada to give you a ruff idea on stock engine builds. I'm pretty sure the U.S prices are a little cheaper.
Hope this helps

What's an alternative to getting a rebuild? I can't find a 350 around my area? What about a crate 350? Could I put that in a 85 delta 88 running the stock 200r4?

I'm certainly not the guy to answer anything on engines, especially give advice on how or what to do with one. I'm just a bolt on guy myself, I have enough experience with other things that make me a danger to myself at times haha.
Your best to start a thread outlining what you have and what you could interchange things with for starters.
Then made a decision at that point ya know what I mean.

No problem, others will chime in and give you some options in sure. I do know an 350 olds will bolt in and work well with your 200r4 . That in my opinion would be your best case scenario. Used 350's pop up here often .
