Hurst lightning rod shifter parts
I think you are not looking for the transmission cable to LR. Been a long time since I work on mine.
It is just a airplane cable that fits snuggly in the button and the spring loaded pin with a key on the side at the bottom. Both held in place by tightening allen screw. Cable is short enough to be stiff yet flex a little for the bend in the shaft. Add some white lithium grease when you finish. Take one of the parts to hardware store, for a snug fit cable. I do not know how long. But you should be able to get the correct length in a couple of tries.
Try below, may have parts and /or know the thickness and length of cable.
