gvod sender wire
#1
gear vendors overdrive sender wire.
I will check back sunday morning for answers. I have a gvod I first used it with the yellow sender wire and had good highway mileage. I had a f------g mouse eat the yellow sender wire this winter. I have seen these units without the yellow sender wire work decently in other applications. I was wondering with real experience does this wire really have a effect on the overdrive unit manually or automatically or does it just send other info back. I know they suggest it but some wires with the overdrive are for some other applications, I checked that one with them before thanks jfb sometimes these wires are on backhold and this needs to be addressed before that point comes around. I do not want downtime this year for bs reasons.

So is there a question? Does the GV work good for you? I have one for my build, also on a turbo 400. I hope its as good as they claim. Im not sure im gonna like the bright/dim switch to activate it, I may get their shifter ball that says 442 and just hide the wire as best as possible.

thanks for combining both threads buddy first of all. my gvod worked good with the yellow wire connected but sometimes for production reasons the wires are included with all of them and others have proved this and theres work good with out it. by the way I cannot repair the wire it is 2 far gone and like I said the wires can be on back order at this time of the year.
