Driveshaft question
Hello all have a driveshaft question ,
When I purchased my car I knew it had the incorrect rear in it and knew it would be changed and have the correct one installed.
This is what I have 71 / 72 10 bolt rear diff part number 1235197 , bolt in axle axles
I have the correct 70 12 bolt o type rear diff part number 402227
The nose of the 12 bolt is a inch shorter then the 10 bolt
checked the u joint and fits both differentials correctly just need to change the strap
my driveshaft from end of the u joint to end of the u joint is little over 55 3/4 long , the yoke is 6 1/4 inches
long , and has 2 inches that is actually in the end of the transmission
I’m calculating I’m gonna be a inch shy and should change the yoke anyone ever ran into his before and can direct me to where I can get a longer yoke.
Thanks for any help

Depends on which style of yoke you have. With the car level how much of the machined surface is between the trans seal and unmachined yoke?
Are the inner splines all the way out to the end of about half way?
Give this guy a call for exact info. There is a measurement guide to the left on the home page.
