Does anyone have a photo looking up at clutch fork and actuating rod from ground so I can see alignment, angle of rod, etc. I need to see it as it is installed in car.
Even better would be for a 1971 442 with 455 cu in engine and 4 speed.
Anyone, PLEASE?![Smile](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

thanks, but i have the diagrams.. i really need to see a PHOTO of actual install.
My problem is that the rod itself does not line up parallel to frame rails from z-bar to fork. I think it's off way too much left-to-right. I don't know what part is wrong, if any.
Thanks,
Dave

thanks! One of those pics in that post helped a lot. Going to go to my car today and see if I can work out the problem. Just what I thought, the bar should be straight and not an angle at all.
I think it may be that I just dont have the Z-Bar far enough into ball on block. I can see in the pic, and if memory serves me right, the bar almost touches the block itself when it is in the correct position, and I don't think I have it that way. I'll try and take pics.
