Vacuum modulator line

When cutting out a rusted floor plan, I accidentally cut the vacuum modulator line that runs to the tranny. Found a replacement on Ebay and replaced it. Now, although the column mounted gearshift moves and appears to move normally, I can't get out of park. I should mention the entire interior including all wiring harnesses and the dash is ripped apart, so I can't start it currently.

72 cutlass, rocket 350, th-350

Thanks guys

The vac modulator line has nothing to do with shifting in and out of PARK, so what else did you cut or disconnect in the process?

How much floorboard did you cut out? Sounds as if you may have disturbed the backdrive linkage that runs form the drivers side of the transmission to the collar on the steering column.

I just took out the front passenger side. The vacuum modulator line was very close to the floorboard. I don't see anything else affected.
