Transmission oil level

Transmission oil level

hi, can someone tell me how high the oil level is when the car is not running? did fill it as required. when the car is not running the oil out of the cooler and the converter flow back in the oil pan, right? how high do that level get? thank you

It really does not matter how high the level gets with the engine off, it needs to be checked when the engine is running, warmed up, and in park or neutral. With the engine off it will read above full on the dip stick.

Its a jetaway. 66 f85. I replaced every sealing, oring.....it still leaks. And i cant see where it come from. Any tips? Thank you

Clean it up really well. Blow a light coating ofcorn starch or baking powder in the are you think is leaking. Then follow it up stream. Once you figure it out ring it off. The normal leak areas are pan, linkage rod, modulator, electrical connector, or dip stick. On rare occasions the breather tube on top.
