transmission from Delta 88

Hi guys

New to this forum - hope it is the right place for this question.

A customer brought me his '47 Chev pickup for me to install a new wiring kit. The engine and tranny are from a 1985 Delta 88. The engine, I think, is a 350. What tranny is it? Are there any unique things about wiring the tranny that I need to know?

where can I find a speed sensor to hook up the new Dolphin speedometer?

thanks!

Pete

Unless the engine was changed odds are it is an Olds 307 with a 200-4R transmission behind it. I'm not fluent in computer-car so someone with more 80s experience will have to answer the speed sensor question.
