Exclamation Trans control spark issue

I have a 71 cutlass with 350 transmission and trying to get trans control spark working. The switch at the transmission has one terminal and the connector harness has two terminals. Do i have the wrong switch or is only one wire need to be connected, if so whish one. Also how can i test the switch on the intake manifold. Thank for any help

My thoughts exactly. In any case, the reason why there is a two terminal connector at the trans end of the harness is because the same wire harness was used with the TH400, which has an electric kickdown as well as the TCS. On the TH400 the plug in the trans case has two terminals. Your TH350 only uses one of the two and the other is not connected to anything in your case. This was just a way for Olds to avoid needing two different wire harnesses.
