Tranny Builder in the Pacific NW

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a reputable tranny builder in the PNW? I'm looking to have a 200-4R tranny rebuild and want to find a builder located in the Seattle or Portland areas. Any and all insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

A buddy of mine is vacationing here with us this week and he is from Lynnwood WA. He says that K.C Martin Transmissions is the best out that way and thats who hes had good luck with. I have never been to WA and never heard of them but this is coming from a WA native. Good Luck

X2 on K.C. Martin. I worked there about 10 years ago. They really know their stuff.
Also call Will here: http://www.strangetransmission.com/
If what you want is 200-4R, I've heard nothing but great things about these guys, and am the process of financally debating with myself whether to do this to mine or not. The idea of higher gears and an overdrive is making me crazy...

Ok, Thanks for the replies L69 and Bluemeanie.

I do some further research on both but it always good to hear of shops performing great work for others. I've also seen ads for Strange on craigslist.

Thanks again.

This place has a good rep with other hot rodders I know. Always ask for references and follow up on them. He is located in Lynnwood, WA

Thanks Citcapp. I agree, asking for references is always a good thing just to get the thoughts of others and to see what their experience was like.
