The oil rigs are all racking in Alberta & Northern BC for break-up. No work for me until mid-May so my gal & I are heading out to Tsawwassen BC today to our condo. We'll be in the Lower BC mainland & NW WA for the rest of April.

I'll be looking at a few Oldsmobiles while I am there & plan to take in the Abbotsford car show & auction too.

Any Oldsmobile types want to hook-up for some Olds chat & a coffee then drop me a line.

99% of all drilling for oil & gas in Canada is on land. Once spring arrives the frost comes out of the ground & as a result counties & MDs will not let rigs move across their roads. As a result the Oil Rigs sit for 6-10 weeks until the road bans are lifted. Until then there is no work for me as a wellsite geologist.
