th400 puked all fluid out

Hi, just wondering what this could be? or problem.
I remember my dads th400 during the winter every year sitting in the garage would do this.

My car never lost/ had a drip of trans fluid before. My car is at a friends all apart getting painted, the car hasn't moved in 5 months, now today has 2-3 gallons of trans fluid on the floor???
Whats this...Thanks

Look at the dipstick seal area first near the pan. And then check with "friends". Somethings not right.

I store my car for five months every year and there is always seepage that I collect.

Its never the 2-3 gallons your experiencing. Maybe...a pint if that much.

They all tend to leak some after sitting long periods of time. Its a seal issue either with the dip stick, the electrical plug, or pan gasket. As the trans sits the t/c and pump drains so the level goes higher than the pan gasket and some seals.
