th350 takin a leak

What would cause a th350 to intermittenly pi$$ after the car was shut off? The trans is in a project car that hasnt been driven in years, except for an occasional once around the block. I can start the car, run it for a few minutes, half hour or an hour at idle and it doesnt leak while running. It sometimes will take a leak after the cars been shut off though. The trans is NOT overfull, in fact its low now, and I cant seem to see where its leaking from. When it does it, it puts down a good size puddle, AND it doesnt do it every time.

I bet the dipstick tube is leaking. When its running the torque converter is full. After you shut off the engine the converter starts to drain and the fluid level rises to the point that it will leak around the o-ring on the dipstick. Pull the dipstick tube, replace the o-ring and I bet your leak is fixed.

Doesn't leak every time. Plus the fluid level is so low now it wont even go into reverse. Seems to be like it's building pressure and actually pouring out
