Th350 swap and floor shift conversion

Hey all! Bought myself an olds th350 some time ago, swapping into my 66 cutlass to replace the 2 speed jetaway. Thinking of buying a b and m console shifter to replace my column shifter. Any tips? Like the look and feel of the b and m shifters, but any brand would work. Rear exit or front exit cable? Do i need the cable or just bracketry? And any tips on making a new shroud to cover up the missing column shifter? Appreciate any positive input. (Im sensitive, alright?!)

You need a front exit cable. You'll also need to adapt a kickdown cable. Other than that, this is nearly a bolt-in swap.
