TH350 Kickdown Cable

Hi All,
Looks like I have a leak from the kickdown cable. Not sure if it’s the o-ring or the detent plug but I have extra of both to be safe. My question is if I can disconnect the cable from the hook inside and reinstall WITHOUT dropping the pan? I just had a new gasket and filter put on so I’d hate to open it back up.

Yes, you can do it without dropping the pan.
