TH350 Accessories
Pickup up a TH 350 to replace the jetaway in my 67 Cutlass. Came without a dipstick and tube or a kickdown cable. What should I be looking for? I'm guessing kickdowns are mostly the same as the relation to the engine wouldn't change. Thanks

You can get repop kickdown cables or universal cables (e.g. Lokar). Most are made to connect to the carb like a chevy, but olds went to the throttle pedal (at least for later years). Check to see if the 67 has the extra hole in the throttle pedal to take a kickdown. The Lokar units are pretty nice, although I modified mine to add a set screw to keep it together better.
Might need to modify the firewall to add a hole.
Universal dipsticks are readily available. Beware that they are unreasonably long, so might want to pick up an OEM unit from someone or modify to suit.
Also need the vacuum tube for the modulator - I don't know if the jetaway had one. Manifold vacuum to the passenger rear side of the tranny.
