Any value in a convertor from a Jetaway switch pitch transmission? Before I scrap it and the trans.

I have heard of people using the 2 speed converter and using it in a st400 which I believe was used in Oldsmobile up to 68?

St300 & st400 both had a variable stator which resulted in a variable stall speed from what I understand

If no bits here try V8buick.com as I see them for sale on there once and a while.

So I should sell the convertor and scrap the trans? What's the convertor worth in $?

 

I couldn't give my Jetaway away when it failed. The converters do interchange as stated and if memory serves me the ST300 converter is 12 inches in diameter vs the larger 13 inch model so it gives more stall. No idea on the price.

 

I'm thinking there was a post of a person buying SP converters up, but can't find it.

 

I searched too, never found anything related.
