Switch-pitch conv. on 1970 Toro / TH425

hey there,

what parts do i need to convert a stock TH425 out of a 1970 toronado to switch-pitch?

there's a 66 and 67 toronado TH425 for parts.

is it all about the pump and the converter? (and the switch of course )

I've only converted the rear drive transmissions. From what I remember the front pump, converter, input shaft have to be switched and the switch pitch selenoid and electrical connector added.

Same here. I know that the TH400 has all the oil passages for the conversion. I don't know if the 1968-later TH425s have them or not. I'm willing to bet that they do, but one way to find out is to check the part number for a TH425 case in a parts book. Compare 1967 to 1968.
