ST300 leaking stream of trans fluid when car running
I have a Jetaway 2 speed in a 68 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Sedan. It had a small leak since I got the car even after changing the pan gasket and filter. Car sat for a bit and was about to take it out for a cruise when I noticed a steady stream of trans fluid dripping off the oil filter and surrounding area on the trans. This is the first time I have been able to really see where its coming from. Does it sound like cooler line leaking or speedo gear housing like the thread below?

Can't really seem to get a break...once I get everything buttoned up something else fails. The bright side is I have a built TH400 waiting to be installed.

The trans is going to get swapped out at this point but I am just curious for the sake of learning where else it could be shooting fluid from? It doesn't leak when in drive but after I drive it a few feet and put it back in park....after around 10-15 seconds it pours all over the oil filter.
(1) Make certain you did not overfill with transmission fluid.
(2) IMO, never use a cork transmission pan gasket - I prefer rubber.
(3) Wipe everything down thoroughly, add a 1 oz. container of UV dye to the transmission fluid, go for a ride, and visualize the leak with a UV lamp.
