Lucas slip stop in Roto-5

Recently used this product in my 63 cutlass Roto-5 slim-jim with some

noticable improvement. Started by draining the trans and adding new fluid.

Added 1/2 of the bottle(approx. 12 oz.) and drove the car for about 100

miles. My trans slipped between 1st and 2nd upon starting out pretty bad.

After 25 to 50 miles this condition improved,as did the other shifts. After

about 2 weeks of daily driving (about 100miles) I drained approx. 12oz. of

fluid out of the trans and added the remainder of the Lucas slip stop.

Be sure your fluid level is correct. Although there was a lot of shift

improvement, it did not eliminate the slipping entirely. I believe by driving

easy my trans will stay together for a while. Time will tell after this stuff

has had time to work.

I just added a bottle of this to my slim Jim last week to see if it would help with a possible front seal leak on a tranny that has been sitting for years. I hoped it would help lubricate some dried up seals as well. Never used the stuff before and my car isn't plated for the road yet so can't test drive it much. But within the last week and almost immediately after adding this stuff I've had the car up and down the street maybe 20 times and im only noticing 1 or 2 drops under the car now which is much better then the small puddles I was getting. I don't believe in many additives but I'm thinking or hoping now that this one might be working!
