When your looking up at the oil pan of a Slim Jim transmission, what is the little nut towards the tailshaft? It looks like an adjustment could be made (by tightening or loosening it ), but the manuals I have do not mention this. Its a 7/16 sized nut. Any help? Thanks

 

I will have to dig into my Motors Transmission manual for the answers. What vehicle are we talking about?
