PATC Products

Hi all,

I am planning to rebuild the THM-400 in my '70 Cutlass and am curious if anyone here in the forum has used parts from PATC(Pefromance Automotive Transmission Center), and were they reliable? Also looking for any input as to other sources where I can buy good performance/stock repair and service parts for GM transmissions. Does anybody know where or who sells transmission service tools for a reasonable price?

Thanks,

Steve

"Reasonable" is a relative term. I got a list of all the necessary Kent-Moore tools for my 200-4R from the CSM and created a search for them in ebay. I now have nearly all of them. Got a complete set for my 4L80E (most of which also work on a TH400) the same way. Also got bushing driver sets this way.

I've poked around a bit on ebay looking at the offerings for Kent-Moore tools and it seems some kits are missing a few tools so you would have to bit and piece a kit together, but the advantage of buying off ebay over shelling out serious dough say at SPX,....there's no comparison!!
