Ordered the M22Z with 2.98 first gear to use with a 3.23 rear gear from 5 speeds .com.

Anyone use this combo with 15 inch wheels and a 455?
Just curious.

I have a friend building one for me:-)

W31, M22Z (3) 3.42, anti-spin G70-14 tires (26.8 inch tall)................... by my research this seems to be the perfect combination.

M22Z (3) First gear 2.994, second gear 2.043, third gear 1.468, fourth gear 1 to 1. This gives a 10.239 first gear final gear ratio, and an almost perfectly equal drop first to second 31%, second to third 28%, and third to fourth 31%. Also perfect highway RPM, 3000 rpm at 70 mph:-)

This is all theoretical..... can't wait to drive it!!!!

With the W30 (more torque) the 3.23 should be very good.
