Mondello Th-400

Found a hardly used Joe Mondello built TH-400 on Craigslist with about 1/2 hour of drive time on it. Apparently the owner decided he wanted overdrive after his first test drive. It was between 5-600hp according to the seller. I'm currently having a 550hp big block built and it was suggested by the builder I get a 3000 rpm stall converter to match my engine specs. Anyone have a thought on which manufacturer I should go with?

Since they manufacture a lot of the parts that other transmission companies use I have always used ATI in Baltimore. They will make a converter for YOUR car----not just grab one off of the shelf. 877-298-5040 You won't be sorry.

Yeah I was thinking about calling someone for a custom converter after I get the engine built and I have the specs in hand! I was definitely interested in what others had to say on it! Have you used ATI's products ferndaleflyer?

Coan is another respected supplier of custom torque converters and beefed-up transmission parts. I have personal experience and am pleased.
