Kickdown wire

Hello , I have a similar question where does the wire that goes to the transmission kick down switch to the fuse box? I don`t have one of these wires, I assume I had one but it`s been cut.

No, you really don't. You resurrected an EIGHT year old parts wanted thread looking for a transmission case to ask a technical question about kickdown wire routing. Here's your very own thread. How about you tell us year and model to let people provide a useful answer?

I`m not sure what happened to the kickdown wire on my 68 Cutlass. I have the wire under the dash hooked to the accelerator pedal but it looks like the wire coming out of the fuse block has been cut . What color or pin is it on the fuse block so I can route another one to the transmission. Thanks for your help

The kickdown switch on the accelerator gets power on the pink wire that also feeds the gauges. It is connected to the fuse marked GAUGES/TRANS. The orange wire goes through the firewall connector where the color changes to black with orange stripe that runs to the trans.
