Kickdown cable location

Fitted a TH 350 to my 67 Cutlass 330. Would anyone have a photo showing location of the kickdown cable mounting? Thanks

First question is what carb are you using? That is going to make a big difference since the kick down is throttle related. Throw up a pic if you can of what you're running Roger. That would help a lot.

You do realize that whatever you do to attach the kickdown cable on a 67 will be custom, right? The 67 cars only came from the factory with an AT that used an electric kickdown (Jetaway and TH400).

There are after market universal cable setups available that run from the carb linkage to the trans.

67 ickdown

Thank you, I'm aware this is not stock. I have the original Quadrajet, converted to accept the detent cable. I have the new cable and an aftermarket bracket from Jegs. Just need to see where to bolt it up.

You'll have to fab something to mount it. You can pickup a bolt/s on the manifold or make a bracket to attach off a carb bolt.

The easiest and least expensive method is to simply get the throttle cable bracket and kickdown cable from a mid-70s Olds with TH350 and Qjet. Those cars ran the cable to the carb, not the accelerator pedal.
