Keeping the stealth look with a 200R4

Guys in building the 64 Olds F-85 post car. Originally the car had the Jetaway two speed trans, shifter on the column. I want to stay with the "stealth look" and keep the column shifter understanding that I may not be able to shift it manually. It there anybody that makes a conversion kits? Advice, pictures? Thanks.

Years ago, a friend put a turbo 350 behind a 383 in a '65 Nova.
Said he filed/ground another notch in the 'detent cam' to get another stop.
Don't know if that'll help, but you might want to look around that area on the steering column.
Know it has to be aligned with the trans stops, though.

You might check with these guys. They advertize both floor shift and column shift conversions. John

I've done it, like previously mentioned, file the detent cam. I also clearanced the tube & arm @ the linkage end of column to make sure there was nothing gonna limit travel there. Can't say it would as I just did it all in one shot so I wouldn't have to go back into it.

You have to develop the "precision bump" on manual shifts but not really an issue.
