Information for installing a Dual Gate
I have sent out about a dozen emails to different folks showing where the mounting holes are for a 70 - 72 Dual Gate installation. I decided it would be a whole lot easier to just make a post. If you would like the pics but dont want to download you can PM me your email address and i can send you the images. I will send you the original hi rez files and it would be two emails, each with one zip file. The benefit of the download is that the file names of the pictures will tell what the tape is measuring from/to.

Nice work Pete! Yes I've thought a couple times that it would be good to have a place where we can post photos of how things like this go together. For anybody wanting to upgrade to the dual gate these photos and schematic will be a huge help

I have done it recently and the best way was to install the bracket on the transmission, install the cable on the transmission bracket and run to the shifter. That will help you locate where the shifter will go. There is couple of different threads on this topic, read them all before you start. It's not as complicated as it sounds.

Well done Bolds! I have a console question for you. I'm changing my bench seat to a buckets/console. I believe I have all of the drill holes in my floor correct. Any chance you know what hardware goes through them? I have the shifter screws, but I'm trying to determine how to bolt down the console properly so it doesn't shift. Any help would be appreciated!
